Mission, Vision, and Values


Mission Statement

Salem UMC exists to make disciples who make disciples that glorify God through worship, grow in discipleship, and go in service to transform the world.

Vision Statement

To be a diverse church that reaches the lost, hurting, and least of these in Conway.

Values Statement

Discipleship System

Niche

Our niche at Salem is our community outreach efforts, specifically our partnership with Julia Lee Moore Elementary and our food ministries (Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, School Backpack Program, and The Sharing Fridge).

Affection

Our affection at Salem is for the lost, hurting, and least of these in Conway. 

 

 

 

Passed unanimously by the Administrative Board on October 5, 2015. Revised with new mission and vision statements by the Governing Board in a unanimous vote October 2017.  Revised with our DNA (discipleship system, niche, and affection) by the Governing Board on August 12, 2018.
